Modern warfare 2 won’t connect to matchmaking server
For balanced matchmaking purposes, there are restrictions as to how far apart in rank Master III-V can queue with players that are 4 ranks below, and any rank.
Call of Duty server matchmaking problems are causing long wait times for Modern Warfare and Warzone players. Call of Duty down reports have been on the rise all day today. However, it might be that Call of Duty is not ‘down’ in the typical sense, but there does appear to be problems with matchmaking, which has now been confirmed by Activision Support. Stay tuned for updates. However, this update was announced over 4 hours ago and there’s been no further word on what might be causing the issues.
Or equally more importantly, how long it might take Activision or Infinity Ward to fix the issue. It’s equally perplexing because the Activision Support website is still describing All platforms as being ‘online’ as though there are no issues. As a whole skill-based matchmaking SBMM is a good thing. By design, it’s supposed to give you fun-but-challenging multiplayer experiences — not one or the other. If you’re a regular player of either Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare or Call Of Duty: Warzone , you might have noticed extended matchmaking times over the last week or so.
